Nolan Drew was born and raised
in Vancouver, B.C. He is currently completing his degree in the Fine Arts
at Emily Carr University. His preferred medium is working with clay; however
he also explores the use of various mediums such as acrylic painting, pottery,
photography, silkscreen printing, and graphic design. Nolan has shared his
work with various galleries throughout Vancouver and Calgary . As an artist
with more than ten years experience, Nolan still considers himself as an
emerging artist; still to reach is full potential. For him, producing art
is a constant learning experience. With every new piece of art that is created,
new problems and challenges arise for him. To create a finished piece that
is aesthetically pleasing, one must find the balance between error and perfection.
Art mimics life’s unpredictability and his art reflects that. Nolan’s
work engages the conception of the pulse in nature. The world is full of
new textures, lines, materials and colors to discover. Nolan’s passion
for art inspires a unique and emotive style that remains constant throughout
his collection. |
